Technology leadership that scales nonprofit impact

We build automation tools and provide technical guidance, so your team can focus on mission work, not managing systems.

Driving social impact is challenging enough. Your team should focus on mission work, not fixing systems. With Radiant, you get technical leadership that understands both technology and mission, helping you automate the busywork, make confident decisions, and scale your impact.

Nonprofits are at an inflection point

The most effective nonprofits are investing in technical infrastructure, and it shows. Teams that modernize their systems add capacity, attract funding, and reach millions instead of thousands.

Two ways to work with us

Choose an ongoing monthly retainer for continuous partnership, or book two week project sprints for focused initiatives. Our pricing is transparent and flexible to match your grant cycles and budget constraints.

Monthly Retainer

$6k /month

An ongoing technical partnership for your organization.

  • Ongoing strategic technical guidance
  • Architecture and system design that grows with your mission
  • Team mentorship and leadership with plain language documentation
  • Code reviews and quality standards for reliable systems
  • Technology selection advice (build vs. buy, vendor evaluation, contract reviews)
  • Data and CRM optimization that turns messy files into reliable, usable systems
  • Workflow automation that reduces manual tasks
  • AI strategy and implementation designed for gradual, low risk adoption
  • Work handled one priority at a time to reduce staff context switching

Add as many needs as you have to your shared project board (we set one up for you). Typical clients submit multiple requests per month, and we handle them sequentially to ensure focused attention on each deliverable.

As automations and cleaner systems go live, your team redirects that recovered time to mission work instead of operations.

Two Week Sprints

$3k /sprint

Each sprint is two weeks of focused work with clear deliverables

  • Clear scope and deliverables defined upfront
  • Two week focused execution with daily progress inside your board
  • Progress updates every 48 hours so you always know where things stand
  • Tangible outcomes like automated workflows, cleaned data, or documented roadmaps
  • No long term commitment; pause between sprints anytime
  • Flexible scheduling that works with grant cycles and budget timing

Perfect for grant funded projects with defined deliverables and timelines: scope it, run the sprint, show the impact.

Start with a single sprint to test the partnership—larger projects can span multiple sprints with no ongoing commitment.

Questions?We have answers.

Yes. Most organizations come to us with scattered spreadsheets, inconsistent CRM data, and years of accumulated files. We specialize in working from that reality, not from a perfect system. We create clear data schemas, design naming conventions, and build workflows so your data becomes reliable and useful rather than overwhelming.

No. Our goal is to free up staff time, not consume more of it. We start by understanding where your team spends the most time on repetitive tasks, then redesign workflows and create automations to remove that manual work. When we need input from staff, we keep it focused and time boxed.

Yes. You shouldn't need a computer science degree to get reliable technology guidance. We translate technical decisions into language your board understands, explain tradeoffs in terms of mission impact and budget, and provide documentation your program officers can share confidently. If you can describe your mission challenge, we can figure out the technical solution.

You'll work directly with an experienced technical leader who has partnered with nonprofits and mission driven organizations. We maintain one on one collaboration throughout your entire engagement with no handoffs to junior staff.

We respond to requests within 2 days. For complex technical challenges that require more time to complete, we provide progress updates every 48 hours so you always know where things stand.

Whether you start with the monthly retainer or book a sprint, we'll set up your project management queue (a shared board where you submit and track requests) within 1 hour. Once you have access, you can immediately submit your first request and start receiving technical guidance.

We work through a shared project board (typically Asana or Linear, whichever your team prefers, and we can work with tools you already use). You submit requests, track progress, and review deliverables all in one place. Written updates keep your team aligned and create a permanent record of decisions.

Absolutely. Many clients engage us for technical leadership while their existing team handles implementation. We provide architecture guidance, review their work, create technical roadmaps, resolve technical disputes, or serve as liaison between your mission team and technical vendors. This is often more cost effective than replacing your team. You get senior strategic oversight without disrupting working relationships or institutional knowledge.

For the monthly retainer: no limits. Add as many requests as you'd like to your shared project board, and we'll address them one by one in priority order. For sprints: each sprint has a defined scope agreed upon at the start, focused on delivering specific outcomes within the two week timeframe.

For the monthly retainer, you can pause anytime, even mid project, with no penalties. Billing cycles are 31 day periods, and any unused days roll over indefinitely. Your remaining time never expires. For sprints, each two week sprint runs to completion, but you can pause between sprints with no commitment to book another. This flexibility is perfect for grant cycles, budget constraints, or seasonal work patterns.

We break larger projects (database migrations, system redesigns, multi system integrations) into manageable phases with progress updates every 48 hours. Each phase includes clear milestones so you can track advancement and provide feedback along the way.

For monthly retainer clients: We break larger initiatives into phases with progress updates every 48 hours. If we discover unexpected complexity, we communicate immediately and work with you to adjust priorities or scope. You stay in control of what we tackle next. For sprint clients: Each sprint has defined scope at the start. If complexity increases, we deliver what's achievable and provide clear options to continue with an additional sprint, adjust scope for next time, or pause to reassess. You never pay more than agreed without explicit approval.

Deliverables are designed to either free up staff time or enable better decisions. Common examples include: AI powered workflow automations, AI agents for donor outreach and prospect research, technical roadmaps for AI transformation, custom AI enabled features integrated into your existing systems, database migrations, Salesforce configurations, API integrations, and vendor evaluation reports. Every deliverable includes documentation and knowledge transfer.

We follow industry standard security practices including secure credential management, encrypted communications, and adherence to data privacy regulations. We can sign NDAs and BAAs as needed, and we only share your data with pre approved data processors.

Yes. Many nonprofits use grant funding for our services. We provide detailed invoices, scope of work documentation, and can structure agreements to meet your grant requirements. We can also work with fiscal year timing and NET 30 payment terms if needed.

Absolutely. As needed, we provide comprehensive documentation including: project plans, progress reports, technical specifications, and implementation summaries. We can also join board meetings or funder calls to present our work and answer questions about your technology investments.

Due to the high quality nature of our work, we don't issue refunds once deliverables have been completed. This policy ensures we maintain our commitment to providing strategic technical guidance tailored to your organization.
